Tri-city United Way executive director Jean Stegman says it’s official – United Way’s annual fund-raising campaign is underway, with this year’s goal set to reach 350,000. United Way’s mission is to improve lives in the Tri-city United Way area by mobilizing the caring power of our communities to advance the common good, promoting educational success, financial stability and health & well-being of all our residents. Tri-city United Way has been helping our communities for over sixty-seven years. Donations from residents and businesses help united way’s ability to continue reaching these goals. No donation is too big or too small. Tri-city United Way also helps to raise funds for various local partner agencies because the need is so great in our area, such as big brother’s big sisters, catholic charities, goodwill industries, healthy youth coalition, Marinette county elderly services, rainbow house domestic abuse services, twin counties free clinic and many more. A transparent system of check & balances assures funds go locally to where the biggest needs are.
