07/03/2019- There will be plenty of activities happening in our area this Independence Day, but one of the biggest celebrations takes place in the little village of Crivitz. Their annual 4th of July celebration begins at 10:45 with a flag raising ceremony in front of the village hall and at 11:00 AM, thousands will line the streets to watch the Independence Day parade. Marilyn Padgett is the Crivitz Village Clerk and says they have a full day of events planned for guests of all ages at the Crivitz Community Veterans Park.
Crivitz has become a July 4th holiday destination for families from throughout Marinette and Menominee Counties and across the state. Padgett says it’s a big revenue boost for local businesses, but more than that, it brings the community together.
You can find a full list of activities and times for the Crivitz 4th of July celebration here.
