12/05/2018- A convenience store clerk from Lena accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of lottery tickets from her workplace will serve jail time. 60-year-old Linda Elliott was charged with several counts of theft in Oconto County Court after she allegedly took the tickets and falsified entries on the lottery records at the Oconto Falls Fastop. This week she was sentenced to 90 days in jail and has been ordered to pay more than 68-thousand dollars in restitution. Elliott won $10000 from one ticket in November of 2016 but insists that ticket was purchased on a day off. Some of the other lottery tickets taken were worth between $500 and $1000
