Falkenberg Pleads Not Guilty
04/05/2019- Not guilty pleas are entered by the suspect in the death of a South Dakota woman whose body was discovered in the Little River in Menominee Township. 45-year-old Stephen Falkenberg was arraigned in Yankton County, South Dakota Court Thursday. He was charged with second degree murder and manslaughter after authorities found the dismembered body of 46-year-old Tamara LaFramboise in the Little River March 16th. Falkenberg allegedly told his daughter he and LaFramboise got into an argument at LaFramboise’s apartment on March 1st and she died after he pushed her into a wall. A jury trial in the matter has now been scheduled for August 26th. Falkenberg could face additional charges in Michigan, as well.
