Funds Needed for Crivitz Playground
The public’s help is being sought to provide a new playground for students at the Crivitz Elementary/ Middle School. The current equipment, used by more than 300 children daily, is out-of-date and needs to be replaced with a structure that meets ADA requirements. The Crivitz Playground Committee has been fundraising for the project for the past year and while some money has also been committed by the District, they are unable to fund the all of the work. Now, through the M&M Area Community Foundation’s Crivitz Area Partnership, residents can make tax-deductible donations for the new equipment. Contributions can be made in person or on the Foundation’s website. Anyone with questions about the project is encouraged to call Crivitz Elementary School Principal Jeffrey Walsh at 715-854-2721.
