Johnston Receives Jail Time for THC Conviction
07/25/2018- A Madison man avoids prison time on a pot dealing conviction. 45-year-old Peter Johnston pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Deliver THC in May after officials allegedly discovered nearly seven and a half pounds of marijuana inside a tote in Johnston’s vehicle during a traffic stop in Beaver last January. Monday, Marinette County Judge Jim Morrison stayed a sentence of two years’ initial confinement and two years’ extended supervision in favor of three years’ probation and 150 days in jail with huber privileges. Johnston will receive credit for 24 days already served.
