Local Man Attends Trooper Recruit School

Nearly 150 candidates begin their training to become Michigan State Troopers. The 26-week long Trooper Recruit School began this week at the Michigan State Police Academy in Lansing and includes instruction in firearms, water safety, defensive tactics, patrol techniques, ethics, and criminal law. Among the recruits is Menominee native, Collin Hinman. Those who successfully complete the course will graduate on July 12th.
