Prison Time ordered for Robinson Jr.
Prison time is ordered for an Iron Mountain man who was arrested in Marinette County after leaving the scene of a UP car crash. 28-year-old Anthony Robinson Jr. was sentenced to three year’s initial confinement followed by three years of extended supervision Monday for a conviction of Battery or Threat to a Judge, Prosecutor, or Law Enforcement Officer. Robinson could also face charges for the crash that occurred in Dickinson County. He lost control of his car in Iron Mountain last October, struck an embankment, and became airborne. His vehicle then landed on top of another car and three teens inside the second vehicle had to be extricated. Each suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Robinson fled the scene on foot and was later captured by police in Marinette County.
