Suspect Arraigned in Menominee Car Crash
10/15/2018- Charges are filed against the man accused of fleeing the scene of a car accident in Menominee last week. 40-year-old Daniel Nicklaus was arraigned Friday in Menominee County Court and has been charged with Breaking and Entering, Unlawful Driving Away of a Motor Vehicle, and Malicious Destruction of Property. After crashing his car into a utility pole causing a widespread power outage last Thursday, Nicklaus allegedly broke into the nearby Wisconsin Public Service building and stole one of their vehicles, crashing it a short time later. He was found unconscious in that vehicle and taken into custody. Niklaus is due back in court for a probable cause conference October 26th.
