Thill Pleads Not Guilty in OWI Crash
07/30/2019- A Marinette man is bound over for trial in a case alleging he was driving under the influence when he crashed his car outside the Marinette Fire Department. 25-year-old Tyler Thill is facing two counts of second degree recklessly endangering safety after police say he was traveling 40- to 50-miles per hour down Main Street with a 2- and 3-year-old in the backseat in June and struck three traffic poles and a fire hydrant before ultimately crashing into the flag pole at the Fire Department where his vehicle came to a rest. Thill admitted to huffing aerosol inhalants just before the accident. In addition to the felony endangering safety charges, he’s also facing misdemeanors for OWI and intentionally abusing a hazardous substance. Thill has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him and is due back in court for a status conference October 1st.
