UP All-Star Game Donates to Menominee, Westwood
A pair of UP high school football teams will benefit from funds donated by the UP Football All-Star Game. Football programs in Menominee and Westwood were each given $1000 to use for new equipment, uniforms, or anything else the team might need. Schools receiving the funds are picked at random each year and once a school is selected, their name is removed from the pool until all schools have received a donation. The event also collected more than 1500-pounds of food for the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry and a cash donation was given to the UP Sports Hall of Fame to help fund an annual scholarship and Bay Cliff Health Camp.
