ADAM WAHL SCORED THE GAME-WINNING GOAL WITH 3.1 SECONDS TO PLAY GIVING THE THUNDER A 4-3 WIN OVER ST. IGNACE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. THE THUNDER BEAT ONTONAGON 11-6 ON SATURDAY NIGHT.

HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING
COLEMAN PLACED FOURTH AS A TEAM AT THE PULASKI INVITATIONAL ON SATURDAY AND TWO COUGARS WON INDIVIDUAL TITLES, CALEB GROSS AT 120 AND JAKE BALDWIN AT 138. KAUKAUNA WON THE TEAM TITLE.

CRIVITZ AND GILLETT/SURING EACH HAD AN INDIVIDUAL CHAMPION AT THE DIRK SORENSON DOOR COUNTY CLASSIC ON SATURDAY IN STURGEON BAY. MICHAEL RETZA OF THE WOLVERINES WON THE 145 POUND TITLE AND SAM LEMENS OF GILLETT/SURING WON THE 138 POUND TITLE.
