MARINETTE PLACED 5TH AT THE DIVISION 2 SEYMOUR REGIONAL AND MARINE JUNIORS SEAN HOLK AND REESE HOLDER BOTH PLACED FIRST TO ADVANCE TO SATURDAY’S SECTIONAL AT OCONTO FALLS. PESHTIGO’S MAX RAUCH ALSO ADVANCED TO THE OCONTO FALLS SECTIONAL. THE BULLDOGS TEAM FINISHED 6TH, FREEDOM WAS FIRST.
COLEMAN DOMINATED ITS DIVISION 3 REGIONAL ADVANCING 12 WRESTLERS TO SATURDAY’S BONDUEL SECTIONAL. THE COUGARS WILL HOST A TEAM SECTIONAL ON TUESDAY. COLEMAN WILL WRESTLE CRANDON IN ONE SEMI-FINAL AT 6PM. NUMBER-ONE RANKED AND DEFENDING STATE CHAMPION STRATFORD IS IN THE OTHER SEMI-FINAL.
GILLETT/SURING ADVANCED TWO WRESTLERS TO SECTIONALS, SAM LEMENS AND SAM DAVIS.

THE M&M THUNDER BEAT THE SOUTHWEST EAGLES OF MADISON 10-8 ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND RETURNED HOME TO BEAT MARQUETTE/NEGAUNEE TWICE ON SUNDAY, 3-1 AND 8-5.

GIRLS BASKETBALL ON SATURDAY
MARINETTE 55 WAUPACA 53 KAITLYN KITZINGER HAD 16 POINTS FOR THE MARINES.

WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL ON SATURDAY
UW-MARINETTE 71 UW-WAUKESHA 64 KAITLYN KUFFEL HAD 23 POINTS AND TORI WANGERIN 20 FOR THE LADY BUCS WHO FINISHED 8-5 IN THE WCC, 11-7 OVERALL.
