04/03/2020- The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has named their newest chancellor. Dr. Michael Alexander, current provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs at UW-Green Bay, has been named the University’s seventh chancellor. His appointment was confirmed Thursday by the UW System Board of Regents, following the recommendation of a selection committee. Alexander has served as provost and vice chancellor at UW-Green Bay since July 2019 and succeeds Chancellor Gary Miller, who left the University in September of 2019 to serve as president at the University of Akron. Alexander begins his new leadership role May 1st.
