11/13/2019- The Green Bay Packers donated $250000 to five community organizations this week and some of that money will benefit local kids under the legal protection of the court system. The Packers awarded $50000 to the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Brown County, who also work with children and families in Marinette County. Brown County CASA reps say the grant will help sustain their efforts to recruit, train, and support CASA volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children. The grants were presented as part of the team’s ongoing initiative to support social justice causes across Wisconsin.
