Work on two bridges in Delta and Menominee Counties will impact traffic in the area. The Michigan DOT says work on the U-S-2/U-S 41 bridge over the Ford River in Delta County is scheduled to begin May 14th and run through the end of June. Following the completion of that project, the contractor will then move to the M-35 bridge over the Cedar River in Menominee County for work that is expected to last until October. Both restoration projects involve replacing pins and hangers, painting, and deck patching work. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in these areas and will be controlled with temporary traffic signals.
