08/06/2018- It’s a chance to get to know your community and those who protect it a little better at Marinette’s National Night Out on Stephenson Island tomorrow.  The event is hosted by the Crime Prevention Unite of the Marinette Police Department and will feature emergency vehicle displays, demonstrations by Enstrom Helicopter and police K-9s, as well as a fire safety house. Detective Craig Kopatz with the Marinette Police Department says the event serves as an opportunity for residents to meet emergency responders from both Marinette and Menominee.
Beyond the demonstrations, guests can take part in a number of other games and activities designed for the whole family.
National Night Out runs from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. There will be no parking on Stephenson Island during this time. A shuttle will be available to transport attendees from Jack’s Fresh Market in Menominee to the event.
