A plea deal is reached for a Marinette man who was accused of selling meth. A jury trial had been scheduled for later this month for 35-year-old Christopher Geniesse, but he ended up pleading no contest to a charge of possession with intent to deliver amphetamine Friday. As part of the deal, the second and subsequent enhancer was removed from the meth charge and felony counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of THC were dismissed but will be read in at sentencing. Officers allegedly discovered more than five grams of meth at Geniesse’s home in October of 2017 while accompanying a probation agent on their in-home visit. Geniesse is set to be sentenced on June 28th.
