Ribbon Tattoo Event Brings in Thousands for Cancer Center

11/22/2019- An annual fundraiser benefiting local families impacted by cancer nets almost $12000 this year. Main Street Electric Tattoo’s annual Ribbon Tattoo Event brought in $11700 last month. More than 200 people received specially-designed tattoos during the event, with all proceeds benefiting the Aurora Medical Center- Bay Area Cancer Center. This was the eighth year of the fundraiser and it took four tattoo artists working for 11 hours straight to get through all the community members registered. To-date, the Ribbon Tattoo event has raised around $50000 for the local cancer center.
